I’ve spent the last four months off of social media slowing down, getting quiet, and spending time on my personal healing path.
Coming back into this online space, I've deeply questioned my intention of why I am here, what really and I mean REALLY matters right now, and how can I share in a way that will be of support and service?
In fact, letting go of social media really helped me to notice how the world goes on, how you are still loved and loveable without it. How you can take a walk in the desert without thinking "will this look good on Instagram?"
The other night I told my husband that it feels as if my claws have been taken out this last year; the claws that have always given me the drive, fever, burning ambition to work, to do, to perform. I have been left with several questions in their absence: How do I create from softness, from spaciousness, from devotion?
In turning inward, what came to me is what continues to drive my work and service, a call to grow, love, and serve in CommUNITY. A prayer from the Hopi Elders prophecy that I turn to again and again is this: "The time of the lone wolf is over. We must gather!"
What I was guided to share with you emerged simply and powerfully: Tools for Health and Sanity. To make it through these tumultuous, rocky, wild waves of the times, we need our health and we need our sanity like never before.
Our health is truly our greatest treasure. We need to support our physical bodies to stay strong, healthy, and vibrant. Our Sanity; our soundness of mind more than ever needs to be supported and elevated. We need space to process the profound complexity of the times we are in.
Over the next several months, I'll be sharing a tool each week with you that has deeply supported me on my journey. These are tools to anchor, support, fortify, and uplift you.
I wish you inner freedom, I wish for all of us to laugh a lot right now, and above all to be true and good to ourselves.
I believe Ramdas said it best: “We are all just walking each other home.”
